Default Nokia unlock solution ( calc )
A new unlock calculator has been released, this unlocks multiple phones including the Nokia 6230 ( tested working myself ), download from gsmschwantz here, password is gsmztnawhcs

There is also an updated Java version here, password is the same

It should do, the 7610 is only a standard ASIC 5 handset like the 6600 and as such i have heard no problems of unlocking them, the 6230 was only an issue as it's ASIC 6 which was a handset type

Don't need to unlock my phone, as it is on o2, but a friend has one on Orange and has had no luck unlocking his phone. Is wary of locking it out so it can be unocked by cable only. Which code off the list should be tried?

1st try the number 7, then 5 and lastly 1. 7 has always worked for me mate.

How many codes has he tried ? 5 incorrect will lock the handset so only a cable unlock can be performed, this is why it is best to trust the unlocker and/or ask someone who knows what they're doing, i've spoken to many people who have been advised the wrong unlock codes on these very forums, but once it's locked out there is nothing that can be done remotely :?
