Default How do you get rid of an old TV?

Recycle your old phone
I want to buy a new LCD for the bedroom, but I have absolutely nowhere to put my old 28" CRT.

I looked on ebay, and it's safe to say 28" CRT's aren't the hot item of the day.

But we all know that the uptake of flatscreens is unstppable, so can someone tell me where all the CRT's are going? Thanks!

If some mod misconstrues this as a sale post, please delete.

Yep, our local dump collects them too (Along with old CRT monitors). Think they send them off to charities

try using freecycle

basically you put an ad on there and someone comes to your door and collects it if they want it. Ive shifted a few things on there that i was only gonna throw away.

at least it means someone else gets use out of it.
